I originally worked in the education industry and hoped to start my own business as a teacher in the future. Therefore, I wanted to create my own website, and this is what got me interested in the web industry and programming.

After graduating from university, I worked as a teacher and sales representative at a language school in Japan for two years. After that, I worked as a Japanese teacher in Canada for over two years. After teaching myself web design and coding, I created a website for a Canadian startup company.
